Here you will find some of the most sought-after answers. I encourage you to move around the site to find more information. Don't forget to check out the Resources tab.

1. Will you travel outside the Orlando area for an appointment?
Yes. Places outside the Greater Orlando area require a minimum of 2 or 3 appointments to be confirmed, and may require a travel fee.

2. Do you bring a massage table?
Yes. I will bring a comfortable, padded massage table, sheets, music, and your choice of a quality professional massage oil or creme. Aromatherapy is available upon request.

3. How do I get the most out of my massage session?
You will need to be in a warm, comfortable, quiet room which is out of other family members' way and don't forget to turn off your phones if possible. Take always deep, slow breaths and let go of your muscles completely. Feel free to ask questions at any time, and above all, relax and enjoy every second. Practice makes perfect, the more massages you get, the more relaxed you will be every time.

4. I am extremely ticklish, is Massage Therapy right for me?
Certainly. The more stress and tension you have packed in your muscles, the more sensitive you'll be to the touch. As your muscles are released and relaxed during, and after the treatments, gradually, you'll be less affected by ticklish reactions.

5. Does Massage hurt? I've heard some "not so pleasant" stories!
Therapeutic Massage should never hurt, meaning injury and/or pain, or leave anybody with "black and blue" marks anywhere on the body. After a pathology treatment or a DT (deep tissue) massage, you may feel added soreness which will go away within a couple of days as part of the healing process. That's one of the reasons why feedback during your massage session is essential in order to have the best possible outcome.

6. I have questions that I'm not comfortable asking, can you help?
Although you can always feel confident about asking me any questions and getting clear, objective answers within my scope of practice, I understand reluctance about sensitive issues. Please check the 10 Embarrassing Questions in the Resources tab. If you ever wondered if massage can help to lose weight, the answer is it might, frequent massages speed up your metabolism.

7. What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call or text me 24 hours prior to your scheduled massage. In doing so you will allow me to use that slot to help someone else, and you will avoid being charged the cancellation fee. If you know you're going to be late arriving at the appointment site, please do the same.

8. What methods of payment will you accept?
Cash payments only, please. (check payments accepted from established clients)

9. How often should I get a massage? Will it "fix" my muscle spasms and soreness?
Let's put it this way: Your body needs to be a well-oiled (or well-watered) machine. Without the right fuel and the right maintenance, how far can you go before something fails?

The recommended frequency of your massage sessions, if you require specific treatments, will be dictated by your particular needs. I will make recommendations accordingly. Remember, there are no "quick fixes", and the effects of Therapeutic Massage are compounding and cumulative. Whether you want to maintain or re-attain a healthier body and mind, then a weekly or biweekly massage session will promote a balanced physical and mental condition.
If affordability is still a concern, please consider taking advantage of package deals, ask me about them. At a minimum, book a massage once every month, and spread the word about the new-found joy you'll have in your life.
